It was dead when I went in around 6 p.m. on a Monday afternoon, but my service was very nice, smiled a lot and quick. I don't know if I was just super hungry, but everything I had was really yummy. My favorite thing was that my spicy tuna roll was chilled. I eat sushi many times throughout the week and a lot of times the raw fish I order is room temperature and I prefer my raw fish to be on the colder side. It's probably safer that way, but also tastes way better cold. Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention that the seats were comfy and I enjoyed the overall ambience of Sushi Naiya.

Best sushi restaurant on the treasure coast by far. Great staff and great food. The volcano roll, especially, is the best I've ever had.

Went there two times and it was good but they served me rotten tuna the last time I went in. I was offended to say the least. Paid full price and now I can confidently say that I will never go back.

I love it here! They don't have what I order on the menu but offer to make if for me each time I go in. The servers are very polite and atmosphere is pretty. Their presentation of food is very nice and I'd recommend this place to anyone for sushi. The only negative thing I'd say is that the bathroom smells like a fish market but that's probably because it's by the inventory in the back. Also the food can take a bit of time to get to you but it's worth it!

Thank you Yelp community. Happy with results. Nice place, comfortable ambiance, catering staff. The Tuna Tataki appetizer was good and good portion. Beauty and the Beast Roll, Eel Roll, and Playboy Roll did not disappoint. I look forward to sampling their Thai menu next trip...

Yum. I was working in town and a coworker suggested this spot. I'm glad he did because it was delicious. We went around 11:45 so we were the only party in the restaurant. Before you have your meal they bring you a complimentary homemade soup which was like a broth with vegetables. I had the tuna tataki (picture) and the sexy roll (picture) and both were amazing. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

We visited Sushi Naiya on a dinner stop on a trip back from Orlando (10 year old's choice!) Sushi Naiya immediately started with three strikes against it. First, I tried to customize a dish and our server would not accommodate. There were a few seafood dishes made with a house sweet chili sauce. I asked if I could get tofu and veggies with the house sweet chili sauce. Our server directed me to the area on the menu where veggies in a brown sauce was listed. I guess no customizations. Second, both my husband and I ordered Thai entrees. For some reason various entrees come with soup or salad and some do not. I do not like this inconsistency. Third, we asked for our Gyoza and Shumai steamed. Both dishes came to the table fried. Yet our server insisted it was steamed, "Yes steamed....pan fried." We had to explain that steamed and pan fried were not the same. Perhaps it was a language barrier. The food was good but not extraordinary. I ended up ordering Red Curry with Steamed Tofu which was very tasty. Husband enjoyed his Lobster Pad Thai but has had better. 10 year old loved his sushi rolls. The Miami Roll had fish tempura, masago, cucumber and eel sauce. The Emerald Roll was a special with "krab", fish tempura, cream cheese, and flakes on top. These are the types of rolls without any raw fish that I would never get, but he's a kid and loves them. The service did not get any better towards the end of our meal. Our server forgot to put in 10 year old' second sushi roll. By and large, whether it was due to the server or chef, the service was super slow for our entire meal. We do not live near Sushi Naiya so I don't think we will be returning soon. I would not rule out giving it a second shot though if we are in the area.....as long as we are not in a hurry!

My go to sushi and Thai restaurant in Port St. Lucie. It's consistently good and I like the atmosphere. They pour a healthy glass of wine, too.

Great sushi and great service. I've only been there twice and both times have had a huge party, they are always accommodating and the food is always the way you want it and in great time.

Our first time here, and we had the shrimp tempura roll, lobster roll, pad see-ew, and drunken noodle. The Thai dishes (last 2) were not as good as we expected. Pad-see-ew has other assorted vegetables that weren't supposed to be there. They weren't authentic. The rolls were quite delicious. The lobster roll is pricey ($23). We would go back for the sushi but not for the Thai food.

Hands down our favorite sushi in PSL and anywhere else for that matter! Hubbs and I honestly miss this place when we're away. Crunchy salmon and crunchy tuna are where it's at! The service is always super friendly!

According to my wife the best sushi in psl. I have been there at least a handful of times and I admit it is great but overpriced. The restaurant is pleasant so I guess you have to pay for the atmosphere. It is a place we can always count on for good sushi. I have never tried the hibachi so I cannot speak on it .

We were lucky enough to get one of the lounge-y tables away from the main dining room, which made this a relaxed and intimate dinner. The decor is pretty, and a bit on the fancy side. Well... the icicle lights tip it over almost to the 'tacky' side, but I love icicle lights, so that's fine by me. My general rule of thumb, in a place that serves sushi-and-something-else is to get the something-else, so we got Thai food. It was surprisingly excellent. The tom yum soup came so spicy it kicked our ass. Delicious! I was really surprised that a place with such a non-Thai clientele served up such spicy food. My penang curry was more like what most NYC Thai places call Massamun curry - it had peanuts in it. (Naiya's 'Masamun' curry has avocado in it - something else I haven't seen before). It was delicious, however. We also got a stir-fried beef dish, which was also excellent, and then finished with a fried banana, which was good, but I've had better (as the waiter seemed to acknowledge). Call us overly-cautious, but we opted not to order the sake from Fukushima. Overall, this was an unexpectedly lovely dinner.

I have been to this place several times trying something different each time and only have good things to report. Yes, the service is relatively slow as already posted by another reviewer, but don't let that disuade you from dining here. It has a modern trendy decor, but it is actually very casual. No reservations needed. The sushi is excellent with a wide variety of fish/seafood and quantities offered. There is also a large poster near the back of the restaurant that includes pictures of all the sushi with their Japanese and English names below to help you along if necessary. The sushi boats seem to be very popular and a decent value. This restaurant also has a nice variety of Thai dishes that are excellent, as well. They also offer tofu based dishes that appeal to vegetarians. There is no shortage of options so even the pickiest of eaters should be able to find something they like. Each time I've visited there has been a solid amount of take out orders being picked up so that's always an option if you're on the go or short of time.

I'm scared for this restaurant. The economy in this area is not good enough right now to support a restaurant this large, with one of the biggest menus I've ever seen. I don't understand why places like this don't just keep the menu concise. Focus on having less dishes that you can really take the time to perfect. We pretty much ordered only sushi rolls, and they were good for the most part. The thai appetizers that we ordered were not good enough to remember what they were. The prices are high, typical for sushi restaurants. I didn't like that they were out of a number of the sakes that we tried to order. Again, if they made the menu smaller it would be easier to keep everything stocked. Looks like they will be opening up a hibachi side soon. There was a cook practicing his 'spatula skills' and it was pretty loud and annoying. Good luck with that.

Fresh sushi and amazing exotic combinations. We decided to eat just sushi (no thai) and our selection turned out great: hee-ma roll, naiya roll and lobster roll. Their roll offer is so large and varied, that is hard to decide. The lobster roll was pricey, but totally worth it. It is large: 8 roll pieces and on the side 4 pieces of tempura lobster inside the lobster tail, plus a little cucumber salad that you must put on top of your roll for an extra wonderful flavor. If you are in the area, do not hesitate to stop by. We make a quick stop when returning from Orlando to Miami and we are so glad we did.

This is the best sushi / Thai restaurant in PSL by far. I usually get the chicken yaki soba, edamame, and gyoza. Warm sake is a must. Great atmosphere w/ comfortable seats and tables. Awesome waitstaff. The prices are in line with most sushi places.

I found the quality of the sushi here is touch and go. Ordered a cocktail (Cosmo) which was $8 and they didn't even fill the cocktail glass and I swear there was no vodka in the drink. I sent it back and they basically gave me the same drink with an orchid in it. Go figure.
